Achievements Until Now:
The capacity of all Dorcas partners in Transcarpathia has improved through trainings, meetings, experience sharing, consultation and coaching. Dorcas has assisted some of the partners, like New Beginnings, Terra Dei and Samuel from their initiation. All the partners have improved considerably in the field of project implementation, human resources, financial management, development of vision and mission, as well as networking.
Target Group:
Capacity building targets partner staff and partner organization leaders.
Problem Program Addresses:
Partners lack knowledge in organisational management, project management, financial management and administration, human management, networking with other NGOs and authorities, as well as lobbying for the rights of the poor, oppressed and vulnerable. Further Partners lack knowledge and information of fundraising possibilities.
Purpose:
Improve quality of DAI partners and increase exchange and cooperation between partners.
Main Activities:
Capacity development is undertaken in trainings and seminars in different subjects related to quality improvement of partners and their services to beneficiaries. In addition, partners are coached, involved in exchange visits with other partners and research (baseline and impact studies)
