Achievements Until Now:
Focus on underage prisoners and women prisoners. Annually the following activities take place: counselling services for boys and girls, basic supplies (bed sheets, medicines, meals) are provided. For the women prisoners carpets, clothing, mosquito nets, medicines and medical care are provided.
Target Group:
Juvenile prisoners (boys and girls) and women prisoners and their children.
Problem Program Addresses:
Lack of basic provisions for the prisoners.
Purpose:
To provide humanitarian aid to juvenile and women prisoners. Also education and skills training is provided.
Main Activities:
Counselling, reunification of youth with their family, assist youth to return to school after leaving the prison, provide youth with school items and healthy meals, regular medical check up, sport events, planting of trees around the prison, shoes and clothes for the female prisoners and their children, training the women on income generating activities. |
