Achievements Until Now:
Currently, capacity building targets 4 partners in South Africa. This involves training (PCM and PME, fundraising, reporting, financial management), coaching in reporting, exchange visits among others. There is improvement in financial reporting and development of human resource management systems.
Target Group:
All the DAI partners (both staff and management).
Problem Program Addresses:
The program seeks to strengthen the capacity of all the partners in the areas of organisational and institutional development in order to strengthen their sustainability and to enable them to address poverty more efficiently and effectively.
Purpose:
Dorcas Aid's partner's capacity is strengthened so that they can provide quality services and support to their beneficiaries.
Main Activities:
Capacity building is given through training in organized workshops, coaching (one-on-one with Dorcas field staff), involvement of networks with other like-minded organizations, as well as exchange visits with other partners. |
