Achievements Until Now:
The child sponsorship projects supports 695 sponsored children by meeting their need in education, health, spiritually & socially.
Target Groups:
The children under the sponsorship projects are 695 children who come from very poor families. Most of them were not going to school due to financial problems. The availability of basic services like food, clothing, educational materials and medical services was at stake before the support of the project started. Their age ranges from 4 to 21 years.
Problem Program Addresses:
Children who come from very poor families are challenged with physical, financial and social problem in their family. Because of this they tend to join street life at their early age. This is the main social challenge that the country is facing now. The program tries to address issues that forces to make children join street life.
Purpose:
Provide the children with good education, improving the living condition of the children and their families and make them productive citizens of the country.
Main Activities:
Provision of basic services like food, clothing and sanitary materials. Provision of health service. Provision of uniforms, educational materials and other educational support. Awareness creation session provided to children. Vocational training provided to children over 18 years. Look for job placement. Counseling service provided to children and their families. Income generating service (IGA) provided to beneficiaries families.
