Achievements Until Now:
More than 150 elderly have been supported with food, clothes and medication. Their social condition has improved. They have received material, mental and emotional support, and are being visited at least once a month by a social worker or church member. Also, they enjoy social activities that are organized for them so they get the chance to meet other elderly people.
Target Group:
Poor and lonely elderly living in Korca and villages around.
Problem Program Addresses:
The project addresses the vulnerable position of elderly. They life in difficult circumstances economically, socially and health wise.
Purpose:
To provide elderly with material, psychological and social support in order to improve their situation.
Main Activities:
Visit elderly monthly and provide goods and other essential necessities monthly. Organise social activities for the elderly. Organize medical check-ups and provide them with medicines.
